Nashville, TN – Traditions Health has recently hired Jay Henderson as its new vice president of sales for the hospice business line. In this capacity, he oversees the sales function for Arizona, California, and Oregon. Additionally, Henderson will be responsible for building customer-focused, high-performing sales teams, while ensuring that we continue to provide value to the communities we serve.

With his strong background in sales leadership and his experience in building top-performing sales teams, I am confident he will help accelerate Traditions Health’s growth,” said Freeman Smith, chief operating officer at Traditions Health.
Henderson began his career in hospice in 2019 as the director of market development with VITAS. Afterward, he spent several years in local and regional marketing leadership roles before becoming executive director for Suncrest Hospice in 2021, giving him greater insight into hospice operations and the importance of collaboration among sales, operations, and clinical teams.
