Franklin, TN – Traditions Health celebrates 100 percent accreditation by The Joint Commission. All 117 branches have earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval® for Hospice and Home Health Accreditation by demonstrating continuous compliance with its performance standards. Since naming The Joint Commission its accreditation and certification organization in 2022, Traditions Health has been working to achieve total branch accreditation.
This prestigious Gold Seal of Approval® is a hallmark of quality in healthcare, indicating that Traditions Health meets the highest standards of quality and safety and reflects a commitment to delivering safe and quality care to patients.
To achieve Joint Commission accreditation, all Traditions Health branches underwent a rigorous, unannounced onsite review. During the visit, a Joint Commission reviewer evaluated compliance with home health standards, including environment of care, infection prevention and control, emergency management leadership, and medication management.
The Joint Commission’s standards are developed in consultation with healthcare experts and providers, measurement experts, and patients. They are informed by scientific literature and expert consensus to help healthcare organizations.
“As a healthcare accreditor, The Joint Commission commends Traditions Health for its notable accomplishment of achieving Hospice or Home Health Accreditation for 100 percent of its branches. Its exceptional commitment to advancing patient safety, quality healthcare, and compassion for all patients distinguishes Traditions Health as a leader in home-based care,” says Ken Grubbs, DNP, MBA, RN, executive vice president of accreditation and certification operations and chief nursing officer, The Joint Commission.
“Accreditation from The Joint Commission recognizes our staff’s commitment to provide the highest quality and safest care to each patient and family we are privileged to serve. We are honored and excited that all our branches have earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval,” says Brian Lantier, chief executive officer of Traditions Health.
