Franklin, TN – Eight Traditions Health home health branches have earned the SHPBest™ Patient Satisfaction Award from Strategic Healthcare Programs (SHP) for the 2023 calendar year. Branches in Longview, TX, and Eufaula, OK received the SHPBest™ “Premier Performer” Patient Satisfaction Award, while branches in College Station, TX; Madisonville, TX; Waxahachie, TX; Chickasha, OK; McAlester, OK; and Purcell, OK all received the SHPBest™ “Superior Performer” Satisfaction Award.
“There are many benchmarks that measure the quality of care we provide, but a patient satisfaction award is the highest form of recognition. It reflects the commitment our teams have to providing quality, compassionate, patient-centric care,” said Tracy Cardin, RN, ACNP, SFHM, senior vice president of clinical services of Traditions Health.
The “Premier Performer” award recognizes organizations that have achieved an overall patient satisfaction score that ranked in the top 5% of all eligible SHP clients. The “Superior Performer” award recognizes organizations that have achieved an overall patient satisfaction score that ranked in the top 20% of all eligible SHP clients.
The annual SHPBest™ award program was created to acknowledge home health agencies that consistently provide high-quality service to their patients. The 2023 award recipients were determined by reviewing and ranking the overall satisfaction score for more than 3,200 home health providers. Home Health Care Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HHCAHPS) benchmark in the nation, SHP is in a unique position to identify and recognize organizations that have made patient satisfaction a priority and have been rewarded for their efforts with high marks on the HHCAHPS survey.
