Franklin, TN – Traditions Health is excited to announce the addition of Tom Moreland as senior vice president of hospice operations. With a wealth of experience and a long track record in the post-acute care industry, Moreland will play a crucial role in driving Traditions Health’s strategic initiatives and further strengthening hospice operations.
Prior to joining Traditions Health, Moreland honed his skillset through a variety of senior leadership positions at Aveanna Healthcare, Nextaff, Saint Jude Hospice & Spirit Homecare, Iowa Hospice, and Bon Secours Health System.

Moreland earned his bachelor’s degree in education and community health, and his master’s degree in health services administration from the University of Kansas. He also holds a master’s degree in theology with a concentration in bioethics from the Holy Apostles College and Seminary.
Moreland resides in Des Moines, Iowa.
